    In this privacy statement, Mercado Medic UK describes how we handle your personal data as controller.

    We process personal data about you because you provide us with data yourself. Only these personal data are linked to a product supplied by us.
    1. Processing of data of persons younger than 18 will only be done via the possible delivery to schools and with permission from parents. Processing: principles and legitimate interests the processing of personal data takes place based on the following principles from Article 6 of the General Data Protection Regulation.
  4. Purposes for the processing of personal data.
    Mercado Medic UK process your personal data for the purposes mentioned below. The figure behind each goal corresponds to the basis mentioned in article 5 of this privacy statement.
    1. Building and maintaining the customer relationship including maintaining a direct relationship between the responsible, dealers, service partners. [basis: 2, 5].
    2. Handling orders (including invoicing), processing in financial administrations and logistical processing [basis: 2, 5].
    3. Providing customer service including service to purchase services and products, fulfilling warranty obligations and product recalls for our own services and those of dealers or service partners, dealing with complaints and requests [basis: 2, 3, 4 or 5].
    4. Conducting market research to improve our operations, brands, services and products [basis: 5].
    5. Communicating with stakeholders and offering a loyalty program [base: 1 or 5].
    6. Measuring customer satisfaction, providing management information and determining the overall business strategy [base: 1 or 5].

    Data remain in our system given the product's life span of more than 10 years. The MDR (European Medical Device) obliges us to keep the data if the product is used.

    You have the right to know what personal data we have recorded about you and to whom we have provided your personal data. For this you can contact us via customer service. In addition to the right of inspection, you have the following rights with respect to our processing of your personal data:
